Software built for the complexity of a real city.
We develop operational software for Barcelona City Council, supporting the management and analysis of urban interventions and public-space operations.
The work provides a real environment in which to develop, deploy and validate the technologies behind Jupiter. A city does not pause for a demo: the software has to hold up under daily use, across many roles, with real data and real consequences.
Public-space operations are data-intensive, spatial, and often carried out in the field where connectivity cannot be assumed. That is precisely the environment local-first is built for — which makes municipal work the honest way to prove the architecture rather than demonstrate it once.
Running at this scale validates the pieces the rest of Jupiter depends on: a single SQLite data contract, offline-capable operation, on-device computation, and secure synchronization when a network returns.
We work with administrations, research institutions and technology partners.
